it’s no secret at all that we are big fans of oatmeal.  its tasty, quick and filling and the perfect way to start your morning.  and although we believe that some oatmeal is better than none at all, we want to point out that the flavored instant oatmeal is high in sugar.  (as if the name maple and brown sugar doesn’t give that away!!)  there are many other ways to flavor your morning bowl of oats.  just cut up a banana or add dried cranberries and almond slivers.  how about even stirring in some local honey or cinnamon.  all of these are great ways to naturally sweeten or flavor oatmeal.   so experiment with your next bowl and let us know what you like!!
