americans are becoming increasingly guilty of eating their meals either in front of a television or computer screen.  this mindless eating increases the likelihood of over eating and making poor food choices – we tend to crave what we see in commercials, which is typically unhealthy, processed foods.

THIS WEEK’S CHALLENGE is to avoid eating any meal in front of a television or computer screen (and be sure to put those smart phones down when you eat, i am sure whomever you are eating with will appreciate it).  try to eat each meal at a table and eat with others as much as you can.  eating a meal should be an enjoyable experience shared with others and typically when we eat meals together, we are more mindful of our eating habits.
