it was just over a year ago when we saw hood to coast: THE MOVIE that we were inspired to start our own relay team. we formed action jackson and after realizing we’d missed the deadline for hood to coast, signed up for the ragnar relay tennessee. it was an experience of a lifetime that helped form a bond between six people who all LOVE TO RUN.
now, we’ve managed to find ourselves 6 other people who are crazy and adventurous enough to take on a 200 mile relay race. and this time, it’s hood to coast: REAL LIFE!
the 12 of us, appropriately named southern swift, depart for portland tomorrow. we start at 2:30pm on friday at mt hood and will run for 24 hours straight to the oregon coast!
